From January 29th-30th, the GMS committee (chair: Mr. TANAKA Mitsuaki, Itochu (Thailand) Ltd.) and the Garment& Textile Division (chair: Mr. YAMADA Hiroshi, Toray?Industries (Thailand) Ltd.) jointly conducted the 2025 fiscal year economic corridor inspection.


This year's itinerary began in Hanoi, Vietnam, focusing on inspections of The Lach Huyen International Gateway Port, constructed with Japanese ODA, and the Fifth Friendship Bridge spanning the Mekong River at the Laos-Thailand border (scheduled for an opening ceremony on December 25, 2025). Details of this inspection will be published in the April issue of the newsletter “Shoho.”
