On February 12th, the Industrial Estate Subcommittee (chair: Mr. SERIZAWA Takaharu, Fujikura Electronics (Thailand) Ltd.) conducted a tour of the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate in Rayong. During the visit, Mr. Kenichi Yuasa, responsible for Japanese companies at WHA Industrial Development Co., Ltd., that operated the industrial estate, provided an overview of Thailand's industrial estates. This included explanations on the location advantages of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), infrastructure conditions, and renewable energy adoption. Following this, participants toured the estate by bus observing key areas firsthand. This tour provided a highly valuable opportunity to understand trends in industrial estate development from perspectives such as country and industry.
