On March 16th, the Finance, Insurance & Securities Division (chair: Mr. OKUBO Bunsei, Bank of Ayudhya PCL.) hosted a lecture featuring Mr. Piti Disayatat, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Thailand. Under the theme “The Thai Economy: Resilient Today, Transformed Tomorrow,” Mr. Piti provided an overview of the current state of the Thai economy and its structural challenges.?


He highlighted that while the economy demonstrates resilience in the short term, structural reforms aimed at enhancing productivity will be crucial to achieving sustainable growth in the future.
He further emphasized that, in fulfilling its role, the Bank of Thailand will continue to maintain low and stable inflation, support credit access for productive sectors, and invest in payment infrastructure to help create a macro-financial environment conducive to long-term economic development.
